Tottenham Open to Transferring Attacker Welsh International Johnson.
Tottenham Hotspur's Europa League final match-winner Brennan Johnson finds himself in an uncertain future at the club due to growing top-flight interest in the attacker.
Reports indicate that the club, while not actively seeking to sell the Wales international, are open to letting Johnson leave if they get a substantial bid.
The Eagles are reportedly the team most advanced in their interest for Johnson, but other teams are believed to be keeping tabs on his status closely.
A Season of Contrasts
Johnson was Tottenham's top top-flight goalscorer the previous campaign with eleven goals, and wrote his name in club history by netting the decisive goal in their Europa League final triumph against United in Bilbao, ending the club's seventeen-year wait for a trophy.
However, the exit of Ange Postecoglou and appointment of the new head coach has resulted in Johnson playing more of a reduced role this season.
The 24-year-old, has been granted only 6 top-flight starting appearances this term.
January Window Interest Grows
As a result, a series of clubs have been alerted to his potential availability before the January transfer window.
Given his limited game time and the prospect of a World Cup on the horizon with Wales, a move away from Tottenham could benefit Johnson in January.
Johnson joined Spurs from Nottingham Forest in a deal valued at £47.5m in the 2023 summer window and has scored twenty-seven goals for the club.
